Graphic Novel: The Complete Peanuts Collection
The graphic novel I selected was Peanuts by Charles Schulz. As a kid, I would read Peanuts all the time with my dad and even had a Snoopy stuffed animal. It was one of my favorite things, so when I came across it in the library I knew I wanted to read it. I have never really enjoyed graphic novels and have always found that novels are where my interests are. I was a big reader as a kid and still am now, but I don't have the same amount of time I used to. Reading this graphic novel was eye opening to me. I was able to read so much in such a short amount of time, and I genuinely enjoyed what I was reading. The flexibility of the story line in graphic novels was really interesting to me as well. I enjoyed flipping through and looking at future stories and not have the structure of a regular novel. Moving forward, I am definitely interested in seeing what other graphic novels are available, how they differ from the other books I've read, and what kind of stories they offer.
